Maybe you’ll get lucky, but I find that it just doesn’t always see the right clips. I've tried turning off Universal Track mode and trying to force tracks to be mono or stereo, then trying to drag 2 mono files into a stereo one- but I can't seem to make this happen either. In my experience, transferring projects from FCP->Avid and relinking via AMA has rarely worked. So for now I rely on PT for any OMF related work. And besides, even if it did, doing it with a hundred plus files isn't really a judicious use of time when you've only got a day or two to mix.
